See and feel Tawney’s undeniable mastery of movement! Tawney has been dancing her way into the hearts of her admirers since the age of three, when she decided she wanted to be a dancer just like her mom. Tawney’s skills and industry contacts are legendary within the dance community.

Tawney’s a member of the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and remains active in teaching and choreography at Southern Strutt. She also works with the Pee Wee Company instructing young children. Tawney credits her extensive knowledge to her mother, her first inspiration.

Gregg Russell

Gregg’s choreography skills and techniques will give you ideas that you can apply to your own Dance Studio performances! His unique style and approach has been utilized by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

Gregg, an Emmy nominated choreographer, has worked with Gregory Hines, Bette Midler, Gene Kelly, The Nicholas Brothers, Michael Jackson, and Kenny Ortega. “Gregg brings to tap an eclectic mix of style including hip-hop, jazz, and lyrical, with a traditional base, reminiscent of Gene Kelly and the Nicholas Brothers.  It is a joy to watch him dance”- Kenny Ortega, Emmy Award winning Director and Choreographer.  He is full of positive energy and great ideas to keep any time of the year exciting at the dance studio.

Denise Wall

You don’t want to miss out what Denise has to say! Denise will be giving a class called “Tech Talk”. She’ll explain how she uses her shows as a teaching tool for her students who want to dance professionally. Every dance professional has something to offer that can enhance your own Dance Studio’s value and Denise is sure to inspire!

Denise has been a teacher and award winning choreographer for over 25 years. Some of her students have performed on Broadway, television, commercials, film, and continued their dancing career with professional companies. She has worked with Teddy Riley, Blackstreet, Chauncy Hanniblal, and group 8th Ave. Her style is described as “innovative and expressive”.  Her knowledge and over all experience exceeds almost all in the industry today.

Sonya Tayeh

Sonya electrifies the world of dance with her outstanding choreography! Taking a class with Sonya is something every Dance Studio Owner, Dance Teacher, And Student should experience. Her cutting-edge approach to choreographing dance routines is why the big stars seek out her creative proficiency and know-how!

As a dance teacher and choreographer, Sonya has choreographed for Madonna, Florence and the Machine, Kylie Minogue, the Los Angeles Ballet, and the San Jose Repertory Theater. In 2007, an agent from McDonald Selznick Associates contacted and signed her on with the agency. Three months after signing, she was booked as a choreographer for the television series So You Think You Can Dance, which led to an Emmy nomination for her work on season nine. She continues to be an active teacher at dance studios and conventions around the world.

Joanne Chapman

Joanne can show all Dance Studio Owners valuable techniques for keeping their students engaged and in love with dance! Joanne will share her expertise on how to create and grow a strong competitive team that keeps the dancers excited about what they are doing. Join her class and soak in knowledge from her years of experience working with some of the most influential dance organizations in the world!

Joanne is currently a faculty member at Dance Masters of Americas Teachers Training School at the State University of New York in Buffalo. She has her Fellowship in the British Association of the Teachers of Dancing and she is a member of the Royal Academy of Dance. Joanne established the Joanne Chapman School of Dance in 1973. Her main goal, as a teacher, is to share her knowledge and instill a love of dance into her students.  Having a successful dance studio business, and being a successful teacher and choreographer, puts her at the front for being both influential and motivational.
